A young woman with a North Carolina driver’s license got a speeding ticket in Roanoke when she didn’t notice the speed change from Interstate 81 to Interstate 581. She had a previous ticket in Virginia and was worried a second ticket would raise her insurance rates. The young woman is a student training for a career in the medical profession.
